01 · Starting point
Situation
Driver, configuration and network issues impaired operating system deployment and made a controlled rollout across multiple systems harder.
Constraints
- Changes within an already established IT environment
- Short, clearly scoped engagement
- Internal system and operating details remain confidential
02 · Responsibility
My scope of responsibility
I analysed OSD errors, created images, packages and templates, coordinated the internal team and structured testing and quality control.
- I analysed driver, network and configuration errors in operating system deployment.
- I coordinated tasks, implementation and quality control with the internal team.
03 · Technical work
Documented scope of work
Key decisions
Isolate deployment errors by technical layer and secure package quality before the rollout. Driver, network and configuration problems need different diagnostic paths; a shared quality gate prevents them from getting mixed up in the rollout.
- I created and tested OS images, packages and templates.
